Produced by Emmanuelle Chiche and Jessma Evans, 'Beyond Katrina' is a fundraiser hosted by The Bubble Lounge to benefit 2 special art projects about New Orleans that will take place on Monday October 6, 2008.

23 Feet in 12 Minutes, an excerpt of a new play created by Deanna Pacelli and Mari Brown about life in post-Katrina New Orleans based on interviews with survivors and rebuilders from Lower 9th Ward residents to senior members of the army Corps of Engineers. The evening with be in collaboration with Those Who Fell Through the Cracks, a photography projection by Stanley Greene and Kadir van Lohuizen that documents Gulf Coast residents struggling to reestablish their lives three years after the storm.
